Woman celebrates 40 years working for Rensselaer County Probation Department

Rensselaer County is honoring the career of Linda McMahon.

McMahon spent 40 years serving as the director of the Rensselaer County Probation Department.

She was a key part of the effort to provide better facilities for the department, the county said.

Colleagues, friends, and family celebrated her career at a retirement party at Ryan’s Wake.

She received a county commendation from County Executive Steve McLaughlin.
