Punk rock concert benefits food pantry in Troy

The Crisis Isolation Collective organized a punk rock music festival Sunday aimed to bring attention to food insecurity. The Hardcore Matinee to Stomp Out Food Insecurity was hosted at El Dorado bar in Troy and featured punk rock bands near and far, including Schenectady’s Schenectavoidz, Lesser Minds out of New Jersey, Robbery from Massachusetts and The Path from Vermont. Canned goods and non-perishable food items were collected and will be donated to the Resident Empowered Action Council of Troy food pantry.
