The American Lung Association says there is still a lot of work to do when it comes to tobacco prevention in New York state.

In its annual State of Tobacco Control Report Card, the association gave New York an "F" for tobacco prevention.

They’re calling on lawmakers to increase funding for programs, prohibit the sale of all flavored tobacco products and to increase tobacco taxes by a minimum of $1 per pack.

The best grade New York received was an "A" for smoke-free workplace laws.
