NewsChannel 13 salutes Army Second Lieutenant Robert French of Ghent.
He served in Europe during World War II, and earned several accolades.
He also worked for the Department of Health, Department of Civil Service, the Education Department and the New York State Thruway Authority, along with the Postal Service in Hudson.
Three of his brothers also served in the military.
He passed away in 2011.
