Here in the Capital Region, it was a seller’s market in the first quarter.

The Greater Capital Association of Realtors released its quarterly report.

It says with strong buyer demand and low inventory, multiple offers were a common occurrence.

As the weather warmed and the pandemic restrictions eased, they say it created even more urgency.

Pending sales were up 14.5% percent in the past year.

Overall median sales prices were also up. However, inventory levels were down 48.2%.
