HR, payroll management company Kronos hit by hackers

HR management company Ultimate Kronos Group has been hit by a ransomware attack.

It’s causing problems for people who use the cloud-based system for accessing payroll, handling timesheets and managing workforces.

Kronos Workforce Central has also been hit. It is affecting the pay for employees at the Pepsi and Hannaford warehouses in our area.

For now, Kronos is telling its clients to look into alternatives to pay employees on site while it figures this out.

Kronos has said it is likely the issue may take weeks to fix, and has not said when things may be back up and running.
