East Greenbush considering lowering speed limit to 25 mph.

East Greenbush town officials are looking to drop the speed limit from 30 to 25 miles per hour on all the town’s streets.
Cities including Albany and Troy have also looked into the measure.
This comes after a state law was passed last year to allow the reduction, and an engineering study was done.
The town board will hold a hearing to hear public comment on the proposal next WednesdWednesday,ay April 12, at 6:20, at the East Greenbush Town Hall.
