Rotterdam police search for bank robbery suspect

ROTTERDAM -- A bank robber in Rotterdam was caught on surveillance cameras. Now, police are hoping you can help them catch the robber.

He is described as a white male in his 20's-or-30's, approximately 5-foot-10 to six-feet tall. He was wearing a dark brown knit cap, dark sunglasses, black jacket, black gloves and a black ski mask covering his mouth.

Police say he held up Pioneer Savings Bank on Altamont Avenue just before 5 p.m. Tuesday. He handed the teller an envelope and demanded money. After getting an undisclosed amount, he ran off towards Elizabeth Street.
