First-of-its-kind energy laboratory open at NanoTech complex, which allows teaching of technology in real time.
The new world-class electric grid and power systems laboratory is now open at NY Creates Albany Nanotech Complex.
The lab offers the ability to test technologies in real time on a digital model of the New York state power grid.
The goal is to use the lab to help municipalities reach their sustainability objectives.
It is located in the Zero Energy Nanotechnology (ZEN) building.
