One dead after dump truck, bike collide in Menands

A fatal crash involving a dump truck and a bike in Menands is under investigation.

The accident happened Monday afternoon at around 2:30 in the westbound lanes of Route 378, the Menands Police Department said.

Emergency crews found the body of the bike rider. Their name is not being released, pending family notification.

The crash remains under investigation.
