25-year-old man arrested for domestic assault, DUI in Readsboro, VT

Vermont State Police say they arrested Casey Pillsbury, 25, of Readsboro for domestic assault and a DUI on Saturday morning.
Police were dispatched to a residence on King Hill Road in Readsboro around 1:15 a.m. for reports of a domestic disturbance.
Troopers say they learned that the involved people from the disturbance had left the residence and were going to another residence in Wilmington.
Police say they were able to locate and contact both parties involved, with the assistance of Wilmington Police and Dover Police.
Investigation revealed that Pillsbury had assaulted his partner and caused them pain, said police.
Pillsbury was charged with domestic assault and a DUI.
He was arrested and taken to Wilmington Police Department to be processed. He was released with court-ordered conditions of release, and is due to appear in Bennington County Superior Court on October 21.
