Troy fire department’s ambulances could only bring patients to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

On their facebook page, the union posted that Samaritan, St. Peter’s and Albany Memorial Hospitals say this was happening until 3 p.m., because those hospitals needed to reevaluate their staffing shortages.

Newschannel 13 called all three hospitals. Albany Memorial and Samaritan confirmed they were on full diversion for a period of time Saturday.

Neither could give us an immediate reason why. We’re waiting for a call back from St. Peter’s.
