3SquaresVT food benefits ending

Financial assistance from the federal government to help those affected by the pandemic will soon be drying up in Vermont.
The state department for children and families says extra monthly food benefits, known as 3squaresVT are ending in the middle of March.
An estimated 40,000 homes and nearly 70,000 residents are due to lose this assistance.
March will be the last month to receive the extra benefits.
