Fort Edward Man dies in Washington County crash

One person is dead after a crash on State Route 4 Saturday in Kingsbury, just north of Green Barn Road, the Washington County Sheriff’s office said.

We first reported the crash Saturday, which shut down the road for several hours.

49-year-old Kenneth Fish of Fort Edward, was traveling south on State Route 4 when he went off the road and struck a DOT speed limit sign before coming to rest in a ditch, police said.

Fish was pronounced dead on scene.
The crash shut down the road for several hours.

The crash is still under investigation.
