Adams fire forces six people from home
The Red Cross is helping six people after a fire in Adams, Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out at 40 East Hoosac St.
Residents learned about it when they heard a large pop in the basement, which was the solder on a water pipe in the basement letting go because of the fire’s heat.
Several fire companies quickly knocked everything down, but the building was damaged.
The fire is being blamed on an electrical problem.
