Adams Police arrest man on drug charges

Adams Police Department say they arrested a man on Friday night on drug charges following a 911 call for a fight-in-progress in the area of Spring Street.

Upon police arrival, they say they identified a man outside in the area around 10:48 p.m.

Authorities say the interaction with the man resulted in his arrest, as officers found a significant amount of narcotics that the male had possession of.

Police say the man was charged with trafficking of crack cocaine and possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.

The man is currently being held on $5,000 cash bail.
