The Adirondack Thunder hockey team is thanking the community for its generosity this season.

The organization says with the help of the community, it raised more than $257,000 this season.
Nights like their “Stick It to Cancer Weekend” helped raise more than $40,000 – and “Law Enforcement Night” brought in more than $15,000.

The Thunder was also able to contribute nearly $80,000 back to nonprofit organizations through things like 50/50 raffles, Chuck a Puck, and ticket donations.
