Albany County officials are slowing down plans to redevelop the properties on the former College of Saint Rose campus.

County Executive Dan McCoy doesn’t want to rush to get a deal done, he said.

A publicly-controlled redevelopment authority might not end up bidding on the campus, the Albany Business Review reports.

The group says it wants full control, but selling all the land together could be a challenge, according to the real estate firm listing the campus.

The firm is expected to start taking bids in September.
