Albany County man guilty of making terroristic threats

An Albany County man was convicted of making terrorist threats.

Jeffrey Rockefeller, 56, of Berlin, was found guilty of two counts of aggravated harassment of second degree and one count of making a terroristic threat after a jury trial.

Prosecutors said Rockefeller threatened to harm an Albany Police detective on Feb. 25 at Albany Police headquarters, the Albany County District Attorney’s Office said. 

On March 21, Rockefeller threatened to commit murder in the area of Albany Law School. That same day, he threatened to physically harm a member of the Albany Community Police Review Board.

Rockefeller faces up to 7 years in prison when sentenced on Jan. 3.
