Albany County recognizes Citizen of the Month
Albany County has named Olivia Rose as its “Citizen of the Month.”
Rose is the founder of the South End Butterfly Sanctuary, where the mission is to maintain a monarch butterfly way station.
She even turned a vacant lot into a habitat for the butterflies and pollinators and took her passion into local schools to educate young people on the importance of monarch butterflies.
The county presented rose with a certificate on Wednesday.
