Albany County has officially opened their new E-911 communications and emergency operations center.
The facility in Clarksville is equipped with technology for call taking and emergency dispatch services.
It is equipped with 37 dispatching seats.
“This building here is 11,000 square feet – four times the size of the original building,” said Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple. “It’s built for decades and decades to come.”
The facility will help the sheriff’s office continue to provide what they say is the highest level of service and efficiency for people in the county.
