ALBANY – A house fire at 306 Hackett Boulevard is under investigation.

The fire broke out Thursday around 2:40 p.m.

This situation was triggering because the family says they lost a loved one in a house fire 20 years ago.

The fire chief says it was a tough fire, with a lot of hidden pockets of fire throughout the home. It was put out, but residue from black smoke remained, along with lots of broken windows.

The chief says there were no serious injuries, but the homeowner tells NewsChannel 13 her daughter did have to go to the hospital.

Roads in the area were shut down for a time on Thursday. They were back open on Thursday evening.
