Albany man accused of chasing bicyclist on sidewalk with car

An Albany man is accused of chasing a bicyclist with his car.

Officers saw a car drive up onto the sidewalk on Central Avenue in Albany and appear to nearly hit a bicyclist, State Police said.

Troopers stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Robert Duncan.

Duncan, 54, was intentionally chasing the bicyclist after witnessing them allegedly attempting to steal something of his.

The juvenile was turned over to their guardian.

Duncan is charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.
