Albany man admits to having 7,000+ grams of meth pills, 34 guns
An Albany man pleaded guilty in federal court Friday to drug trafficking and weapons charges.
Brandon Bartley, 26, had over 400 grams of fentanyl pills, more than 7,000 grams of meth pills and more than 700 grams of cocaine in his home, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. He admitted to trafficking large amounts of the drugs.
Bartley also had 34 firearms, including a loaded Glock pistol on his bed that he used to protect his drugs and drug proceeds, according to prosecutors.
He faces 15 years to life in prison and a fine of up to $10 million. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 12.
