On Friday, June 23 around 11:00 a.m. officers responded to 288 Lark Wine and Tap,  located at 288 Lark Street after the statue in front of the restaurant was knocked down earlier that morning.

It’s the 2nd time this year a statue has been vandalized outside this restaurant.

Detectives identified Devin Brewington as the culprit, and he was arrested in the area of Madison Avenue and Trinity Place.

Brewington is charged with criminal mischief and was also charged with criminal mischief again in a separate incident that happened on April 23 on the 100 block of Fourth Avenue where he intentionally kicked the mirror off a parked car.

Brewington was arraigned Friday in Albany City Criminal Court.
