Albany man charged with drug possession
Albany faces drug charges
Police have arrested an Albany man on felony drug possession charges.
Albany County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a car driven by Dhimitric J. Morris, 43, at around 10 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Second Street and Judson Street for a traffic violation. Deputies found that Morris had over 2 ½ ounces of cocaine and over an ounce of MDMA, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
Police believe Morris intended to sell these substances based upon their quantity and packaging and he also had a digital scale.
Morris was charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia.
