The DA’s office says Ryan Critcher violated a restraining order at a home on Central Avenue in Colonie with a sledgehammer in July of 2021.

In November of 2021, he also violated the restraining order and hurt the victim with a sledgehammer, the indictment says.

He once again went against the order in December of 2021, and May of 2022.

He will be sentenced at a later date and faces 13 to 26 years in prison.
