Albany man faces weapons, drug charges
An Albany man is facing weapon and drug charges.
Davon Sisnett, 36, is accused of possessing multiple controlled substance, a large amount of cash and drug paraphernalia at his Albany residence, State Police said. Sisnett was arrested at the scene.
During the investigation, police also discovered a storage unit in Rensselaer that Sisnett was using. After obtaining a search warrant, police found additional controlled substances and two illegally possessed, loaded handguns. They also found an illegal high-capacity magazine.
Sisnett was arrested at his Albany home on Dec. 29 with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal Service on these new charges.
Sisnett was charged with 10 felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon – all felonies – as well as a misdemeanor count of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
He was sent to Rensselaer County Jail to await arraignment.
