Albany man facing drug charges after traffic stop

An Albany man was arrested for allegedly having illegal drugs, including psychedelic mushrooms and crack cocaine.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office pulled over Rahiem Smith in the area of Central Avenue and Henry Johnson Boulevard Thursday morning for a violation, they said.
Smith had the drugs on him, and a digital scale commonly used for weighing and packaging drugs. He also had a large amount of cash.
Smith is now facing felony drug charges.
