An Albany man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Friday for two separate, violent incidents.
An Albany man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Friday for two separate, violent incidents.
Raheem Hines sliced a woman’s face on Central Avenue in August 2021.
He pleaded guilty to assault in the first-degree last October.
Hines also pleaded guilty to attempted murder, after shooting a woman from a front porch in May 2022 while she was inside her home on Partridge Street.
Each crime received a concurrent sentence of 25 years in prison.
Hines will also have five years of post-release supervision.
