Albany man sentenced in pair of violent crimes
An Albany man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Friday for two separate, violent incidents.
Raheem Hines sliced a woman’s face on Central Avenue in August 2021.
He pleaded guilty to assault in the first-degree last October.
Hines also pleaded guilty to attempted murder, after shooting a woman from a front porch in May 2022 while she was inside her home on Partridge Street.
Each crime received a concurrent sentence of 25 years in prison.
Hines will also have five years of post-release supervision.
