Albany man arraigned on attempted murder charge in shooting

Man pleads not guilty in connection with shots fired incident

Donta Blair pleads not guilty for allegedly shooting at a car.

An Albany man was arraigned Monday afternoon in Albany County Court on an attempted murder charge.

Donta Blair, 24, is accused of firing shots at a car in the area of Orange Street and Robin Street.

The driver of the car said he heard a loud noise and saw a man in his rearview mirror pointing what appeared to be a firearm in his direction. 

The victim found a bullet hole in the rear passenger side of his vehicle.

Blair is facing attempted murder and drug possession charges. He pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on May 3.
