They are paying tribute to 232 people who died and donated their bodies to the medical college’s anatomical gift program for medical education.

A graveside ceremony took place at the Albany Rural cemetery in Menands Monday afternoon at 1.

Many of the donor’s families were in attendance.

The program director tells us how valuable the donations are.

Anatomical gift donors enable medical students to better understand the structure of the human body through dissection.
