Albany pair arrested in Wilton road rage incident

Two Albany men were arrested for allegedly trying to drive someone off the roadway on Thursday evening.

Raekwon Prather, 22, and Amiah Valdez drove in separate cars and tried to run a third car off the road in Wilton. They had followed the victim from Colonie, police said.

The cars drove recklessly to obstruct the victim’s car, said police, who added there was a child under the age of 5 in the victim’s car.

Both suspects were known to the victim, police said. They are both facing reckless endangerment, child endangerment and stalking charges.

Prather was found while fleeing the area and brought into custody and Valdez surrendered himself, investigators said.

Both were processed in Corinth and released.
