Albany parolee faces new charges after leading police on foot chase

An Albany parolee is facing new charges.

26-year-old Myaire Leigh ran from police on Clinton Avenue Sunday morning after they tried to stop leigh during an investigation, Albany Police said.

While running Leigh allegedly threw a fanny pack that contained a loaded gun.

During the foot chase police recovered the weapon.
Leigh is now facing criminal possession and obstruction charges.
He is in jail.
