Albany Police charge Schenectady man in September 2022 shooting of woman

Albany Police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting of a woman in September 2022.
Felipe Ermolenko, 22, of Schenectady, has been charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection in the Sept. 2, 2022 incident that happened around midnight in the area of Manning Boulevard and Lark Drive. A 23-year-old woman had a gunshot wound to her neck.
The victim was treated on scene by emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation determined that Ermolenko fired rounds through a 9 mm handgun multiple times at the victim’s vehicle, police said.
He was arraigned Wednesday morning in Albany City Criminal Court and sent to the Albany County Jail.
