Police charge Albany man involved with TD Bank robbery

The Albany Police Department reported Reginald Knox, 54, of Albany was charged after robbing TD Bank on State Street on Friday.
Around 5:30 p.m., Knox went up to a bank teller at the 125 State St. location. He stated he had a gun and demanded cash from the drawer, said Albany Police.
Albany Police said Knox fled the bank with cash in hand, until officers took him into custody after a brief foot pursuit near South Ferry and Green Streets.
No injuries were reported during the robbery, police said.
Police said Knox was charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
He was arraigned Saturday morning in Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
