Albany police investigate after shots fired

Albany police say that at around 1:15 a.m. Sunday they responded to reports of shots fired.

We’re told it happened in the intersection of Quail Street and Central Avenue, where a handgun was fired.

Our photographer who was passing through the area says the intersection appeared to be blocked off, and police had placed caution tape around the area.

Police are still investigating, but they did find casings at the scene. No one was injured. The scene is now clear.
