Dutchess County man charged in Albany forcible touching incidents

Police in Albany have arrested a Dutchess County man in connection with a series of forcible touching incidents in Albany.

Nathan Holmes, 31, of Red Hook was taken into custody in Hudson.

There were at least four incidents Monday, police said. All of them were in the Pine Hills neighborhood, and all in a span of a few hours.

The victims – all women – said a man walked up from behind and touched their bottoms.

The first report happened around 3:20 p.m. in the 800 block of Park Avenue. The second occurred around 4:25 p.m. on the 400 block of Hudson Avenue. There was another report five minutes later on the 800 block of Madison Avenue. Officers responded to another reported incident on Hudson Avenue and Ontario Street around 10:20 p.m.

Holmes is due to be arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court on Wednesday.
