Albany Police investigating Friday night shooting

Albany Police say they are investigating a shooting that happened Friday night in the area of Lark Street and Madison Avenue.

Officers responded to the area around 11:55 p.m.

When police arrived, they located evidence consistent with gun fire and were notified of a 17-year-old male having entered the Albany Medical Center emergency room with a gunshot wound on his shoulder.

The victim was treated and the injuries were non-life threatening.
