Albany Police investigating fatal hit-and-run

Albany Police say a 31-year-old woman from Albany is dead after a hit-and-run.

It happened near Clinton Ave. and N Swan Street.

Albany Police are investigating a hit-and-run at Clinton Ave. and N Swan Street. Witnesses said it happened at about 7:15 p.m.

Police started clearing the scene and removing the body at about 8:00 p.m.

Police said Clinton Ave. is closed from North Hawk Street to North Hawk St. until further notice. Originally, police said witnesses told them it was a young girl killed. Police later clarified if was a 31-year-old woman.
