Albany Police investigating Morton Avenue shooting

Albany Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday evening on Morton Avenue.
At around 7:15 p.m. officers responded to the area of Morton Avenue and Elizabeth Street in Albany for reports of a shooting.
21-year-old Naheim Burbridge of Albany was found there with at least one gunshot wound to the torso, police said.
Burbridge was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital where he later died.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available right now.
