Albany Police investigating shooting incident

Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Friday on New Hope Terrace in Albany.

Around 12:55 p.m., Albany Police responded to the residence for reports of a person who may have shot themselves.

Police located a 14-year-old male deceased with a gunshot wound at the residence.

Albany Police say the investigation is active and ongoing.
