Albany ready for battle of the BBQ’s
Also happening Sunday – it’s the battle of the barbeques.
The popular, annual event raises awareness about food insecurity, and money for a local food pantry.

Seven teams will be competing to see who can make the best kosher chicken and meat sliders and win the ultimate BBQ champion title.
The fundraiser is put on by the shalom food pantry in Albany and helps support their mission of feeding those in need.
The event is from 4 until 6 at the Albany JCC on Whitehall Road.
