A 17-year-old Albany man has been arrested for allegedly threatening a person with a gun

The teen was arrested following a menacing incident that occurred on Monday afternoon on South Pearl Street. Officers responded to a home on the 600 block for reports of a person with a weapon. When they arrived, they spoke with a 19-year-old man who told police that he was threatened with a handgun while inside the apartment.

After an investigation, police determined that the 17-year-old was responsible.

No one was injured. The teen’s name is not being released because of his age. He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and menacing.
