Albany police are investigating a shooting that sent a 17-year-old boy to the hospital.

The shooting happened before midnight Friday, April 5 near Lark Street and Madison Avenue.

The teen walked into Albany Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his shoulder, police said. He is expected to be OK

Police are asking anyone who may have any information about the shooting to call them at (518) 462-8039, or send an anonymous tip to Capital Region Crime Stoppers.
