Albany tree lighting rings in holiday season

It’s beginning to look a lot more like Christmas at the state Capitol in Albany.

The tree is now lit at the Empire State Plaza.

Local leaders helped kick off the holiday season at the annual tree lighting ceremony.

Hundreds of people filled the Empire State Plaza to watch as the switch was flipped.

There were also fireworks and holiday tunes.
