A new hotel opened in downtown Albany on Tuesday morning.
The 110-room Hyatt Place Hotel is on Montgomery Street.
It’s the first hotel to be built from the ground up in downtown Albany, in nearly 20 years.
The site is a former brownfield, which Pioneer Companies spent nearly $40 million to redevelop.
