Albany woman gets 17 years behind bars for boyfriend’s death

A woman from Albany will spend 17 years behind bars for killing her boyfriend.
Destiny Lanza, 25, pleaded guilty to the December 2020 death of Jairue Williams.
Lanza stabbed him to death in their apartment on Central Avenue.
Her prison sentence will be followed by five years of post-release supervision.
