An historic Albany movie theater that closed earlier this year reopened Wednesday morning under new management.

Spectrum 8, which closed in March, is now owned by Scene One Entertainment.

All films Wednesday were only $5, with proceeds benefiting Youth FX, an organization in Albany that works to empower young people.
